The Scream saga’s usage of online promotion has come a long way since Scream 3 (2000) which threw all its strategy into a website based around the Stab alternate universe.
It certainly appears to be a possibility, as hinted by the great Wes Craven.

There have been rumors flying around about Adrienne King making a cameo in Scream 4 so we reached out through the grapevine and obtained a quote sourced from the original Friday The 13th heroine. She stated:
