Here’s a troubling development. We’re as shocked as many fans are: Kevin Williamson is is no longer working on Scream 4. In his absence, Ehren Kruger has been brought in.

Finally here are some clearer photos from day two filming at “Woodsboro High” earlier in the week. Several geeky things to catch here, like the same football jock jackets that Casey’s gutted boyfriend Steven wore in the original Scream. What neat little things can you catch?
The most recent exterior daytime filming captured by an opportunistic onlooker, this time outside homes on a small residential street. No cast sightings, we’re afraid, unless you have better squinty eyes than we do.
Some (thankfully) official news today helps finalize the cast list for Scream 4. Hopefully it will soon end all the on-and-off casting controversy that the media has been playing up.
This scene looks like either Erik Knudsen or Rory Culkin pestering Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts and Marielle Jaffe as they go to school. This bystander video footage was recorded on June 29th.
It seems Graham leaving has opened up the gates for some particularly pointed sniper shots at the Scream 4 production, like the following article.
Here are photos from the film site at the old Livonia Court House converted into Sheriff Dewey’s workplace. Also, some additional snaps from yesterday of the High School location. Comparatively significant detail visible in both are the branded Woodsboro cop cars, and news vans staking out W-High (could another Kenny or Joel be far away?).
After Lauren Graham’s departure almost kneecapped Team Scream in the publicity stakes, they needed a win. And they got one – today sees a trio of names “unofficially officially” confirmed in a well-timed move.
Ann Arbor’s Salon Vox (that previously played hairdresser to Hayden P. and Nico T.) indicates Marley Shelton as a cast member via Twitter. Shelton played the heroine in Jamie Blanks’ Valentine (2001), which arrived at the tail end of the slasher film resurgence kickstarted by Scream.
