Still Screaming Gets Posterized (Hi-Res)

The producers of Still Screaming: The Ultimate Scary Movie Retrospective have supplied Scream-Trilogy with an up-close look at the documentary’s new promo poster artwork. Illustrated by Hack/Slash creator Tim Seeley, it features the iconic characters and one representative blonde victim about to run up a flight of stairs, no doubt. The style on show may seem an unusual choice, however it’s important to remember these films have a sharp comic undertone to them (and Scream 3? That was an all-out live-action cartoon).

Reader Advisory: Comments may contain SCREAM 4 SPOILERS
  1. Love it! Just wish the wouldn’t have put the GF icon in the right corner….looks outtaplace. Otherwise…very slick!

  2. Some stupid killer stalking some big-breasted girl who can’t act who is always running up the stairs when she should be running out the front door. This poster is insulting.

  3. That’s one voluptuous blondie.

  4. Man, that is an awesome poster! It’s so retro-comic. I think it was necessary for the documentary to go this route…it definitely sets them apart from the film promo’s.

  5. I recognize the trio, but the blond girl is who…?
Tatum and Cici never wore stuff like that…

  6. This is a really good poster, then only problem I have with it is that the artist made Sidney look more like Halle so I had to REALLY look at it to recognize it was Neve

  7. Ghostface, I think the blonde girl in the centre is a generic, hot, blonde girl, that so many of the rules in the first movie centred around. It could also allude to one of the new blondes in the fourth film.

  8. Hmmm… maybe the blond girl will appear in the documentary!
