I like this scene. It shows more of Gales jealosy for Sydney because she is now in the spot light while Gale is left in small town USA with writers block.
And of course, the scene would of totally coincided with the alternate ending with Sid being visited by Gale and Dewey and the line Dewey gives about them doing a book together. I also like the scene because of what Red Right Hand said, it shows a bit into Dewey and Gale’s life together. So ironic…

Dewey is so akaward still even if its been forever they’ve been married. He’s still like a lovesick high schooler around Gale. Love it <3
