Bananadoc is back with this photo and description: “Heard a rumor that one important scene will be filmed in the back yard. There are HUGE lights set up at neighboring houses.” Opening scene finisher? Climactic killer rumble? Hmm.

A few weekends back the University Of Michigan played host to a 35mm screening of Scream, and an extensive q&a session with Wes Craven afterward. The transcript has popped up today via Bloody Disgusting. The director delved into subjects like cinema violence, strong heroines, My Soul To Take – and Scream 4 of course.

The Toronto Sun have released details on the trouble that a fake Twitter account has caused Neve Campbell. As a follow up to their My Soul To Take coverage, MTV’s Kara Warner asked Wes Craven some Scream 4 centric questions.

It’s no secret that Kevin Williamson has declined to publicly acknowledge Scream 4 since the events we shall not speak of went down.

Speaking to Parade, Kristen Bell was asked about her time on Scream 4. which already seems to have been completed. Here’s what she had to say…

September is about to begin and Scream 4 will shoot for its third and final month. Eyewitness photos have been thin this week, as Bananadoc is on vacation (a rumor persists that it’s a front – he really slipped on a banana peel while photographing a major death scene and is now recuperating in hospital).

On the back of the Scream 3 soundtrack you can find the upper half of an early/unused poster artwork for the film. Focusing heavily on the Hollywood Stab aspect of the story, it was a more evocative, moody piece.

Yesterday we posted a glimpse of Ghostface and posited that the performer was stuntman Dane Farwell, returning from Scream and Scream 2. Thanks to Bananadoc we now have visual confirmation – that’s Farwell sitting there, rehearsing for a scene in Scream 4 where Ghostface starts reciting poetry as a new method of torture.

Scream 4 continues to prove itself to be 2011’s big talent farm, constantly surprising jaded spoilerhounds along the way. Hot young actresses Shenae Grimes (90210) Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) have been spotted on set. Here are the pics and our commentary on what it could all mean.
