The latest on The Weinstein Co’s money-juggling yields a surprise nugget about Scream 4 as well as a look at their production strategy which involves a slate of Scream-relevant movies like Scary Movie 5, which we’ve heard will be a reboot.

This is the first real death scene rumor we’ve heard, and doesn’t indicate specifically whom, only vaguely how.

R.J. Torbert from Fun World is back with another cryptic tweet that reveals nothing and something at the same time. He has “received direct communication from Wes Craven today—things are going great on set and he’s very pleased, more “fun” in store”.

This week Scream 4 has resumed daytime shooting… away from prying eyes (deservedly so).

As if we needed to tell you that. But it’s a little less ridiculous than the void-generated Cotton Rumors to think that Randy Meeks could return in Scream 4. This is the non-truth that fans wish were true – heck, including us.

A new article today from Hometown Life doesn’t offer any new details, being more of a piece relevant to locals – detailing the aftermath of Scream 4 blowing through Plymouth. They did include this nice new profile shot of Courteney Cox Arquette, which we liked.

Wes Craven has been relating dangerous weather conditions in Michigan during the latest round of Scream 4 shooting  – “Our 2nd AD’s car was struck by a flying trampoline! The wind today was out of control.”
