Fun World’s R.J. Torbert has released a statement addressing Neca’s prototype Ghostface figure which had received divisive fan feedback.
A minor tradition for each Scream sequel has been the fanbase’s investigation of character fashion. That may sound a little strange, but basically by counting the number of outfits certain characters wear, a reasonable assumption could be made – how far a player would make it through the film.
Neca’s 2011 prototype Ghostface figure was revealed on Scream‘s 14th Anniversary, and while there are vast improvements on the older McFarlane Movie Maniacs figure we can’t help but think the mask doesn’t look authentic – the kindest we could say is that it’s more reminiscent of the KNB mold seen briefly in the original Scream.

Ghostface taunting in French – now we’ve seen it all. Here is the French-Canadian trailer for Scream 4 – we mean, Frissons 4. It’s basically a transfer of the US trailer with the appropriate linguistic replacements of textual graphics, but the smooth dub job makes it a fun little diversion.
And so the countdown begins. Not a literal countdown, mind you (that would just make the long wait seem longer) but today is noteworthy as we have exactly four months left to wait until Scream 4‘s April 15th theatrical release.
