To be honest i dont think she had any intention of killing Randy there, even while they were talking, she was there for Gale, or possibly the cameraman, she was hiding in the news van after all, i think the only reason she killed Randy was because he started badmouthing Billy & wandered by, she let her anger get the best of her.

Sounds about right. She seemed to not care about killing anyone else, just the main three and especially Sidney.

I think she was mainly interested in killing Gale and Sidney.

I think she was interested in Sidney, Gale and Randy, since they were all present during Billy's death.

There are 4 things that I dont seem to understand about Randy's death:

1. How was Ms. Loomis man handling him so easily in the van?

One more reason why I refuse to believe that Ms. Loomis killed him...

And what may the other reasons be? You can refuse all you want, but Mrs. Loomis basically admits she killed Randy.

To be really honest, it just seems to me that some people simply can't stand the thought that their precious Randy was killed by a middle-aged woman.

Don't get me wrong, I love Randy, but come on, it's not that unrealistic. Randy was standing with his back towards the van and was taken by surprise, he didn't see what was coming. Mrs. Loomis was full of adrenaline and anger because of his remark about Billy, and most likely had done some power training to prepare for the role of Ghostface. And let's face it, Randy was also kind of a wimp.

Also, it is most likely that Mrs Loomis had a work-out, a make-over and ate steroids before her violent adventure.

point 1, goof maybe? I got the impression it was Mickey that killed Randy but I found it hard to believe that Mrs Loomis killed him and was able to control him with ease

point 2, the blood on Randy's neck is just blood splatter because when his body is lying down so all blood from his chest wounds is naturally going to trickle down towards the neck because it's not flat area of the body

point 3, he must of flipped over on his back to defend himself

point 4, his clothes and the van's carpet soaked up the majority of blood
