Well, the Canadian set on DVD does look the same. However, it does NOT include the 2 documentaries.

If anyone has been waiting to get the Blu-Ray collection from Canada - it's 23.99 at Amazon.ca right now! Great deal!

I just got the American 5-Film Set for Christmas.

I love the fact I own these on Blu-Ray now.

Does anyone own this?

Although a German release, it has an English audio track and might be region-free. It's special features include:

Quote:
• Behind the Scenes
• Behind the Scream
• Deleted Scenes
• Featurette
• Q&A
• Outtakes
• Test Shots
• Special Effects Gallery
• TV spots

Has anyone imported it from Germany? I'd love to own it if it's region-free and will import it if it is. No reason Lion's Gate couldn't have released this in Region 1.

Sadly, that is not the laser disc version, it is only the R rated version. in germany, the "cut" version is actually a toned down version of our r-rated version. so there un-cut version is the same as our r-rated version.

Wow, talk about misleading advertising on that cover :? Glad I asked about it, I was looking to import it. Thanks for the information.

Still blows about the uncut version not getting a Region 1 release, it was a huge missed opportunity not to get it out last year for the 15th anniversary.

^ if you're a big "Scream" fan, and want to see the films in high definition, then yes the blu ray set is worth it. Plus you get 2 extra documentaries.
